Universal’s 100th Anniversary releases for Italy revealed.

The titles that will be released by Universal as digibooks in Italy, and hopefully in other parts of the world as well. have been revealed. Although the release dates remain unknown, the movies will consist of at least the following titles if not more:

La Mia Africa (Out of Africa) 1985
Per chi Suona La Campana (For Whom the Bell Tolls) 1943
La Stangata (The Sting) 1973
Schindler’s List 1993
La Mommia (The Mummy) 1932
ET 1982
El Squalo 1975
Gli Uccelli (The Birds) 1963

Extras are to be confirmed but are said to include a documentary about the re-mastering of the film.
Audio is provided in English & Italian with the older films – For whom the Bells Toll and the Mummy featuring English 2.0 DTS HD, the more recent films will include a 5.1 DTS HD track. Subs will be in English & Italian as a minimum, but other languages seem like a possibility.

Two titles already scheduled for early Italian release as digis are All’Ovest Niente Di Nuovo (All Quiet on the Western Front) & Il Buio Oltre La Siepe (To Kill a Mockingbird). Both were released on February 22nd
